Late March 2015 — Florida.

The beach is the perfect place for R & R.  There is something about sand, sun and water that take the cares and concerns of life away and replaces them with a perspective that lifts, restores and charges the batteries.

We visited Florida in late March 2015 and enjoyed a few days with George and Claudia (Christine’s Dad and his wife) in Cortez.  It was my birthday and they cooked a terrific meal including some incredible strawberry shortcake!  Later we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and some great stories.

We then made our way to the east coast of the state and camped at Beverly Beach Camptown RV Resort.  Great campground!   The sites are literally right on the beach.  We slept under the sound of the waves and enjoyed a few days of sun and relaxation.  We will definitely make this a regular retreat!
